This site is operated by QVisionX (OPC) Private Limited, a one-person company registered in India. Our registered office is A603, TG Ascent, Hosa Road, Bengaluru 560099, Karnataka, India. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, we are the data controller for personal data described in this policy.

If you submit our contact form, we receive the information you type into it: your name, work email address, company name (optional), the practice area you select, and your message. We ask for nothing else, and none of it is required beyond what the form marks as mandatory.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL and timestamp. These are generated by the infrastructure for reliability and security purposes. We do not use them to build profiles, and we do not combine them with contact form submissions.
localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB.Our object detection demo runs entirely inside your browser. Any image you upload, and any frame from your camera, is processed locally on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not receive it, store it, or see it. Nothing you put into the demo reaches our servers.
Loading the demo does download machine-learning libraries from a third-party content delivery network (see the table below), which necessarily reveals your IP address to that network — as any web request does. That is the only external interaction the demo involves.
The chat widget on this site is an AI assistant that answers questions about our work. When you send it a message, that message and the earlier messages in the same conversation are sent to Anthropic, which operates the underlying model, so that a reply can be generated.
Conversations are not stored on our servers and are not linked to your identity. They live only in your browser tab and disappear when you close or reload it. We do not use them to train models, and we do not receive a transcript.
Please do not type confidential information, credentials or personal data about other people into the chat. If you need to discuss something sensitive, email hello@qvisionx.com instead.
If you apply to the QVisionX Five programme, we receive what you enter in that form: your name, email address, graduation year, institution (optional), links to your work, your availability, the area you are interested in, and your written answer.
We use it only to assess your application and to reply to you. We do not share it with anyone, we do not use it to train models, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
We deliberately do not accept CV or document uploads, so we hold no files about you — only the text you typed and the links you chose to share.
Applications we do not take forward are deleted within 12 months. If you join a cohort, we keep your application for the duration of the programme and for the period afterwards needed to provide a reference. You can ask us to delete your application at any point by emailing hello@qvisionx.com, and we will.
We use contact form submissions for exactly one purpose: to read and reply to your enquiry, and to carry on any conversation that follows from it.
Where the GDPR applies, our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us about our services) and, where a discussion progresses, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
We keep third parties to a minimum. These are all of them:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or any other purpose. No party outside this list receives it.
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence — normally up to 24 months from our last exchange with you, unless our engagement or the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
Email hello@qvisionx.com and we will act within 30 days. We do not charge for this. Because we hold so little, most requests are simple to fulfil.
If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We operate from India, and the providers listed above process data in various countries including the United States. Where personal data of EU or UK residents is transferred outside those regions, our providers rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
This site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in an access-controlled Google account. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, which is the most reliable protection available.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle personal data will be described here rather than made quietly.
